His finance team is swiftly working on putting together a fundraising schedule that may include stops in Florida and Texas.
DeSantis' efforts signal a significant step towards political reconciliation with Trump, who had previously mocked him as “DeSanctimonious” during their rivalry. By leveraging his extensive fundraising network, DeSantis aims to strengthen his ties with Trump, a move that could prove beneficial if he decides to run for president again in 2028.
Notable figures within DeSantis' fundraising circle have expressed their support for this initiative, highlighting the governor's dedication to the former president.
