A Derry woman who lost both her husband and father suddenly is to start a new podcast in their memory.
"Memory Of Me" is a new dedicated podcast by Bronagh Burke and will be for "anyone who has ever felt pain, loss, and any form of grief no matter what the circumstances".
Ms Burke lost her husband Thomas "Burkey" Burke in April 2020 when he collapsed after returning home from a cycle.
The mother-of-two also lost her father, Colum Deehan, who was only 51-years-old, suddenly in 2015.
Sharing a trailer online of the podcast, which officially releases on February 9, Bronagh thanked those who had reached out with messages of support on Facebook and Instagram pages.
"On Friday, the 27th of February 2015 at the age of 24 my life was about to change forever," Bronagh says in the short trailer.
"Five years and two months, at the age of 29, my whole world collapsed. Losing my daddy and my husband the exact same way with no symptoms, no warning, no goodbyes, just gone from this world instantly. Nothing ever prepares you for that."
Bronagh continues: "Now after nearly seven years of living in the club that no one really wants to be in, I want to grow and build a community to connect and share my story with you all and let you know that you're never truly alone.
"Let's have an honest conversation on each episode about what loss is truly like."
You will be able to listen to Bronagh's new podcast 'Memory of Me' this Wednesday (February 9) on Youtube and Spotify.
