Ulster champions Derry will bid to overthrow current All-Ireland champions Kerry as they bid to reach their first senior final since 1993.
The Oak Leafers lifted their only senior title to date 30 years ago with a win over Cork and the current squad will be hoping to get to the final after losing out to Galway at the semi-final stage last season.
Derry had a four-point victory over the Rebels in the quarter-finals, but they’ll be fully aware that Kerry represent a huge step up in class.
Jack O’Connor’s men proved their desire to retain the Sam Magiure is as strong as ever with a hugely impressive 12-point victory over Tyrone in the last eight.
Goals in the second half from Diarmuid O’Connor and Sean O’Sea saw the Kingdom pull clear of the Red Hands in a one-sided contest and Kerry are strong favourites to progress to another All-Ireland final.
