Derry vs Donegal: TV and live streaming info for the 2022 Ulster Senior Final

Tickets are like gold dust and St Tiernach’s Park will be full to capacity as Derry and Donegal slog it out for the Anglo Celt Cup.

It is 24 years since Derry last won the Ulster Senior Football Championship - some of their current squad weren’t even born when Kieran McKeever lifted the famous trophy on the steps of the Gerry Arthurs Stand back in 1998 following their win over Donegal.

Since then, the Tír Chonaill men have won the provincial title five times, including in 2011 when they defeated Derry 1-11 to 0-8 thanks to a Michael Murphy penalty.

Yet, they’ve also lost seven finals in that same period, including when hotly-fancied against Cavan in the 2020 decider in the Athletic Grounds.

Declan Bonner’s side powered past Armagh in their Championship opener in Ballybofey while second half goals from Conor O’Donnell and Paddy McBrearty helped them defeat Cavan in the Ulster SFC semi-final.

Derry’s path to the decider has included two Division One scalps. After defeating All-Ireland champions Tyrone by 11 points in Omagh, Rory Gallagher’s side then accounted for Monaghan in the last four.

If they defeat another top-flight team this Sunday, they’ll be leaving Clones as Ulster champions.
