Police in Derry have closed several roads in the city after the discovery of a suspicious object.
The Corrody Road between its junctions with Strabane Old Road and Kittybane Road was shut following the report of a suspicious object in the area.
Diversions are in place and are expected to remain in place overnight.
The alert was reported at around 9pm and it's believed officers from the ATO will attended the scene at first light.
There are no further details at present.
