A Derry city centre restaurant has seen 2023 get off to a fantastic start after being added to the coveted Michelin Guide.
Artis by Phelim O'Hagan opened in Derry's Craft Village 14 months ago. Since then it has made a name for itself in the fine dining scene of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Phelim and the team's hard work in creating a fine dining experience in the heart of the city has not gone unnoticed, as this month they featured in the Michelin Inspectors Favourite New Restaurants guide.

Artis was one of three Northern Irish restaurants to feature in this month's guide, alongside Blank in Belfast and Fontana in Hollywood.
Speaking to MyDerry, Phelim told of the pride he takes in his establishment and how it feels for his and the team's efforts to be recognised.
He said: "To start 2023 with being acknowledged as one of three new Northern Ireland additions to the highly acclaimed Michelin Guide is a commendation to our incredible, hardworking and dedicated team.
"I am overwhelmed with the support and recognition we have received over the last 14 months since opening the restaurant.
"We started Artis with the aim of giving our customers the best dining experience the North West of Ireland has to offer by being committed to showcasing the best in local Irish ingredients in our dishes – with this newest accolade, I think we are well on our way to helping make Derry a foodie destination."
The LegenDerry Food Facebook page, who strive to highlight the city's culinary experiences, said: "What an incredible accomplishment for Artis by Phelim O'Hagan.
"Congratulations on becoming the North West’s newest addition to the Michelin Guide! An incredible feat in just 14 months of service, bravo!"
