The Guildhall Square was swarmed this week with smiling school children celebrating a huge milestone since the founding of their fantastic school.
Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Alderman Grahame Warke, joined pupils from Oakgrove Integrated Primary School today to celebrate their 30 th anniversary.
The sun shone as the pupils gathered in the Guildhall Square for some special photos marking the occasion, and speaking afterwards the Mayor said it had been a fantastic opportunity to pay tribute to the staff and pupils at the school.

He said: "I was delighted to be invited to share in this special day with the staff and pupils of Oakgrove PS and to celebrate with some singing and dancing in the sun.
"The school has gone from strength to strength over the years since it was established and has become a real beacon for integrated education and the many benefits it can bring.
"I want to congratulate everyone at the school for their work since the school opened to make it a really joyful and welcoming place for all who work and learn there.
"Well done to you all and I hope to see the school continue on this positive pathway for many more years to come."
This celebration comes in conjunction with celebrating 40 years of integrated education.
