A description of the show reads: "Existing friendships and rivalries will be tested to their limits, as household name comics get behind the wheel for some of the most perilous conditions, phenomenal landscapes and riveting driving challenges to be found across the globe.

"The trips force stars out of their comfort zone: together they drive some of the world's most challenging routes and discover surprising things about themselves and their co-drivers."

Derry duo Saoirse-Monica and Jamie-Lee will feature in the sixth episode of the series as they travel to Romania and take to the roads in a 4x4 vehicle.

The show's revival was first announced back in 2020 but due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, has been pushed back until this year.

World's Most Dangerous Roads is made by Renegade Pictures and the series will consist of eight one-hour episodes.

Other pairings appearing in the series include Edinburgh Comedy Award best newcomer Lara Ricote and The Split star Stephen Mangan, stand-up comedians Ed Gamble and Lou Sanders in Iceland, Joe Wilkinson and Zoe Lyons in Turkey and more.
