Firefighters have rescued two people during a blaze at a property in Derry on Christmas Eve.
The fire at Old City Court in the city was reported at 1.30pm on Saturday. Three appliances from Crescent Link and Northland stations attended the incident.

In a statement issued on Saturday evening, a spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) said: “NIFRS was called to reports of a fire at Old City Court, Londonderry at 13.29hrs on Saturday 24th December 2022.
“Three appliances from Crescent Link and Northland stations attended the incident. Firefighters using breathing apparatus and other specialist equipment quickly brought the incident under control and rescued two people from within the building.
“Fire Service Regional Control Centre emergency call handlers initially provided fire survival advice via telephone to the residents until firefighters arrived.
“The cause has been determined as accidental. The casualties were left in the care of Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. Firefighters left the scene shortly before 1500hrs.”
