If anyone knows Derrick White’s game as well as the man himself, it’s his father. Richard White (Derrick’s dad) recently returned to CLNS Media’s First to the Floor” podcast.
The elder White came on to discuss how the Boston Celtics have managed their “11 games in 18 nights” stretch, and how his perception of Boston’s All-NBA forwards, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, has changed since Derrick joined the team. Plus, he offers up some comparisons to last year’s team, and asks whether we are we still surprised with veteran forward Al Horford’s production at this point of the season.
The hosts and Mr. White also touch on the trade of former Boston combo guard Terry Rozier to the Miami Heat from the Charlotte Hornets, and what impact it might have on the Celtics. Check it out in the clip embedded below!
