Two men have been arrested after a 19-year-old was fatally stabbed in Luton town centre.
Derrick Kinyua, also 19, was attacked at the junction of Hucklesby Way and Hitchin Road about 8.20pm on April 14 and later died in hospital.
Two men have since been arrested in connection with the incident - one on suspicion of murder and the other on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Local police, however, believe there are others linked to the stabbing and have appealed for information to aid the investigation.
Detective chief inspector Sam Khanna of Bedfordshire Police said: “We do believe that others still yet to be arrested are out there and so we are working hard to get them in custody to progress the investigation.”
Previously, Mr Kinyua’s family released a statement paying tribute to the 19-year-old.
They said: “Derrick was liked and loved by many friends, and dearly cherished by his family and all those around him.
“The news of his passing is painful. He will be very sorely missed.”
