This Friday and Saturday thousands of people will descend upon Marlay Park in Dublin to catch Grammy-nominated artist Dermot Kennedy for two sold-out shows.
This weekend fans of the Giants songwriter will be in for something special as the Rathcoole singer continues his Irish tour, which will also take him to Limerick's Thomond Park next month for two dates.
From stage times and support acts to tickets and transport, here is everything you need to know about the platinum-selling star’s sold-out shows on Friday and Saturday.

Who will be supporting?
There are a few support acts on the night for the singer’s Dublin shows including LA songwriter David Kushner, Limerick city folk rockers Kingfishr and Nell Mescal, sister to Oscar-nominated actor Paul Mescal.
Can I still get tickets?
As it stands the two gigs are completely sold out. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a chance to get a ticket, there are still some resale tickets available on Ticketmaster for the two dates, this could change though.
What are the stage times for the gigs?
According to promoters MCD, Marlay Park will open its gates at 4pm and the support acts will begin at around 5pm, with Kennedy hitting the stage at some point after 8pm.
Based on previous shows, his set is expected to last around 90 minutes, so you could be heading out of the show at around 10:30pm.

Based on some recent dates played by the singer on his tour, you might expect something similar to below, however, there could be some changes for Ireland.

What will the weather be like?
Both days aren’t too promising weather-wise. While the temperatures will remain at a decent level, rain is expected at points.
Friday will be mostly cloudy with spells of rain through the day, possibly heavy at times but some brighter intervals will develop also. The highest temperatures throughout the day will be between 19C and 23C.
Saturday will be warmer, with the highest temperatures reaching 20C to 25C, however, there will be spells of rain or showers, heavy at times.
Are there any banned items at the shows?
There are some items that you will not be allowed to bring into the show, including backpacks and large handbags - all bags need to be A4 size or smaller.
Other banned items include garden furniture, deckchairs, fold-up chairs, umbrellas, selfie sticks, flares/fireworks, megaphones and air horns, aerosols/spray cans, smoke and gas canisters, glass, drones, professional cameras with detachable lenses, video cameras and audio recording devices.
While water and soft drinks in sealed plastic bottles up to 500ml are allowed, no alcoholic drinks are permitted. Empty reusable plastic bottles are also allowed in. There will be multiple drinking water points on site.
How do I get there and get home?
According to the organisers, there may be some "inevitable" travel and parking delays, meaning any ticket holders should give themselves ample time to head to the gig and are encouraged to use public transport wherever possible.
There are a few different options available to travel there:
Bus
Marathon Coaches will be operating a bus service from Custom House Quay in Dublin city centre to Marlay Park. Tickets are available here.
Luas
The Luas green line will be running from the city centre to Dundrum and Balally, it is a 35-minute stroll to the park from the Dundrum Luas stop.
If you don’t fancy the walk, a shuttle bus from Dundrum Luas station to Marlay Park departs every half hour from 2pm for both shows.

Car
There is car parking available here and must be purchased in advance.
The car park entrance is located on College Road and is accessed via Whitechurch Road and only those who have pre-booked parking will be permitted entry into the car park.
Park and ride
There is also a park-and-ride service being run from Dundrum Town Centre to Stonemasons Way by Marathon Coaches on both days of the gigs.
Park and ride tickets should be booked per car and the number of people travelling together.

Drop-off and collection point
For anyone who is getting dropped off or picked up from the gig, there is a recommended drop-off and collection point within the Supervalu car park on Ballinteer Avenue, however, people are advised that road closures will be in place on the roads surrounding Marlay Park.
