Dermot Desmond has jetted into Glasgow as the chase for Brendan Rodgers heats up.
The Celtic supremo was pictured coming off his private jet on the airport tarmac as reports over face-to-face talks with the former Liverpool and Leicester City gaffer over a sensational return in the Parkhead hot seat intensify.
We previously told how chief executive Michael Nicolson and Chris McKay jetted out to Mallorca to meet up with the 50-year-old. Desmond is also reported to have personally made two phone calls to his top target as he bids to convince him to take over the top gig at the Scottish champions and postpone plans of a year out of the game.

Ange Postecoglou departed for a crack at the English Premier League with Tottenham following two hugely successful seasons in charge at Celtic. He ended his last game by winning the Scottish Cup to secure a domestic Treble and add to his medal haul following a double in his first campaign in charge.
His work in the transfer market was also heavily praised with the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Reo Hatate, Jota, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liel Abada, Matt O'Riley and Daizen Maeda all arriving under his watch.
Rodgers was also hugely successful during his time in the big chair tasting trophy success on numerous occasions.
A second stint in Scotland would offer him the chance of a return to the game following his sacking at the King Power Stadium while also giving him a crack at the Champions League with Celtic already in the group stage.
