Derius Davis returns punt 87 yards for Chargers touchdown

The Los Angeles Chargers got off on the right foot against the New York Jets on Monday at MetLife Stadium.

Actually, it was Thomas Morestead’s right foot that delivered a punt to Derius Davis.

The Chargers’ rookie collected the boot and took off on an 87-yard punt return.

After the PAT, LA led 7-0 en route to a 17-3 lead at halftime.
