Hartlepool United star Luke Molyneux is wanted by Portsmouth and Derby County, Football Insider reports.
The 24-year-old is available on a free transfer after an impressive season in League Two, scoring 12 goals in all competitions.

Argyle make decision on star midfielder
All-action Plymouth Argyle midfielder Panutche Camara has been transfer-listed by the club after failing to agree a contract extension at Home Park.
The 25-year-old, a Guinea-Bissau international, was a crucial player in the heart of midfield for manager Steven Schumacher, scoring four goals in 40 appearances for the Pilgrims.
Camara has entered the final year of his contract, but talks over a new deal have broken down and the club are determined not to lose him for free in a year's time, deciding instead to cash in now.
"With the midfielder entering the final year of his existing contract and showing no intention of agreeing new terms, the club will now seek to facilitate a move for Camara, in line with our transfer strategy," a club statement said.
Forest Green lose another key contributor
Angered by the exit of manager Rob Edwards to Watford earlier this week, Forest Green Rovers have lost another important member of their League Two title-winning team.
Energetic midfielder Ebou Adams has been snapped up by Championship side Cardiff City on a three-year deal.
The 26-year-old, once a transfer target for Ben Garner at Rovers. scored three times in 37 appearances as FGR claimed top spot in the fourth tier. The player has long been tipped for a move up the pyramid and he has a chance to impress in South Wales.
Adams said: "I spoke to the manager and I was delighted with his plans, and I just wanted to be involved. We spoke about the style of football we would be playing, and it is a style I really like. Hopefully, I can be part of the team that takes Cardiff City back to where they belong."
Forest Green are also braced for the departure of out-of-contract wing-back Kane Wilson. Bristol City are interested in the League Two Player of the Year.
Ipswich eye Posh midfielder
Peterborough United midfielder Jack Taylor is attracting interest from Ipswich Town, according to the East Anglian Daily Times.
The Tractor Boys are eager to bolster their options in central midfield and the signing of 24-year-old Taylor would be a statement of intent as the Suffolk club targets promotion from League One at the fourth attempt.
Taylor starred in Posh's League One promotion campaign in 2020/21, and he continued to feature prominently in the Championship this season with three goals in 34 appearances.
Lincoln name new manager
Former Birmingham City assistant manager Mark Kennedy has been named new Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton, who left the Imps after a 17th-place finish this season.
Manchester United hero Michael Carrick had been linked with the job, but Kennedy was the club's chosen man and he has signed a four-year contract at Sincil Bank.
"We'll be a heavily possession-based team but progressive and aggressive on the ball," he said in his first interview. "One thing I'm really keen to impress on the fans is our aggressive off the ball - we want to be in people's faces and get the ball back as quick as possible."
