Denmark vs Tunisia lineups: Starting XIs, confirmed team news, injury latest for World Cup 2022 game today

Denmark and Tunisia this morning kick off their World Cup campaigns against one another in an intriguing Group D opener.

The big question for the Danes is whether Kasper Hjulmand goes with a three- or four-man defence for the tournament.

A 3-4-2-1 formation brought great success at last year’s Euros but the return of Christian Eriksen has seen a 4-3-3 setup deployed too, the midfielder joined by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Thomas Delaney in the middle of the park.

Jalel Kadri has an experienced attack to pick from including Wahbi Khazri, Naim Sliti and captain Youssef Msakni.

Arsenal defender Omar Rekik is absent from the World Cup due to injury.

Starting Denmark XI: Schmeichel; Andersen, Kjaer, Christensen, Kristensen, Maehle; Hojbjerg, Delaney, Eriksen; Olsen, Dolberg,
