After the suburb's only supermarket closed for almost a month over stocking issues, the Denman Prospect IGA is back open for business.

The supermarket re-opened to shoppers on Wednesday, with a new layout and new owners.
The store will now be run by Marinos Haridemos and his family, which managed the nearby Richardson IGA for more than 20 years, before it closed earlier this year.
Mr Haridemos said he expected to have a year off after the decision was made to close the Richardson supermarket, but four months in, he decided to come out of retirement.
"There was enormous support since the closure, but I was given a great opportunity to relocate here, and it's been a really good start," Mr Haridemos said.
"The customers have been flowing in since it re-opened and they've been saying that it's good that the store is back."
The store's original operator Steve Smith was replaced after a decision made by Capital Airport Group, the owners of Denman Prospect shops, after stocking issues at the store regularly saw shelves empty and staple items missing.
Capital Airport Group chief executive Stephen Byron admitted the company "picked the wrong horse" in its first choice of owner, but said the Haridemos family would be successful in their running of the supermarket.
"They've got a real community feel to them and they've got great experience," Mr Byron said.
"Us and Marinos and [IGA distributor] Metcash have worked hard to refit the store in a much more sensible way."
The updated supermarket will include a large range of fresh food, and more storage space throughout the aisles.
The IGA will be able to sell alcohol, although the liquor licence for the new owners has yet to be approved and is expected to take two weeks to complete.

Mr Byron said the store had been forced to close in August for several weeks not due to a lack of customers and sales, but because of a lack of stocking by the original owners.
"The writing was on the wall when the store wasn't buying new stock," Mr Byron told The Canberra Times.
"We have a lot of tradesmen at the site, and the supermarket's liquor area ran out of beer. You can't have a supermarket with no beer."
Items continued to not be stocked at the supermarket, despite a loan from Capital Airport Group.
Original owner Steve Smith also owned an IGA supermarket in Yass. It closed in July after financial uncertainty and stocking issues.
Mr Haridemos said issues that plagued the previous owners of the supermarket would not happen following the store's re-opening.
The re-opening of the supermarket for nearby Molonglo Valley residents comes as more stores have opened in the growing area.
Recent months have seen a medical centre, cafe and a gym open next to the IGA. A chemist, dentist and Domino's Pizza franchise are expected to open in coming weeks.
Mr Byron said the new shopping centre had seen a large growth of customers.
"We're committed to quality and providing facilities for our residents," he said.
"There's a fair bit of apartment development going on, and the first 38 apartments will see their occupants move in soon, and trade has been good before and it can only get better."
The supermarket's new owners said the new store represented a new opportunity.
"This one is a bit bigger in a sense than the one at Richardson," Mr Haridemos said. "While the doors at Richardson may have closed, a new one has opened up."
