Denise Welch unrecognisable in glamorous snap as fans are convinced it's not really her

Denise Welch left her fans completely enamoured after sharing a recent photo on Instagram.

Some fans were even convinced that it wasn't really 63-year-old Denise in the snap, because of how different she looks.

Taking to the social media site, the Loose Women panelist shared the picture which showed her stood in her kitchen with her hands on her hips.

The former Coronation Street actress, who usually dons a chic pixie cut, could be seen sporting longer blonde hair in the form of a sleek wig.

She was dressed in a pair of peach-coloured yoga pants, an oversized pink jumper and a pair of glasses.

Denise Welch stunned fans with a recent Instagram post as she sported a brand new look (Instagram)

Denise captioned the post: "Playing around with wigs and a ‘smidge’ of a filter with @glambypamelab. I now feel the need for an ‘interview look’ every time I go to the bloody shops!!!"

Standing in her modern-looking kitchen, the TV star looked incredible as she flaunted her svelte figure and bold new look.

Denise's fans and followers were totally taken aback by her new look, with many in disbelief that it was really her in the photo.

One penned: "That is NOT you !!!!!" while another added: "Doesn’t even look like u!!! Wow."

A third person commented: "Wow, you look like you're in your 20s."

While a fourth said: "Takes years off you, not that you look your age anyway."

Denise's extreme transformation comes after her stalker who started a fire in her driveway was jailed for seven years and seven months – following a court case that concluded today (April 7).

The 63-year-old actress and TV personality gave evidence over video-link from the US as Toraq Wyngard, 64, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court on Thursday.

She said: "It has changed my life. I have a wonderful life and this man has permanently scarred it."

The court heard that, just before 11pm on September 19 2020, Wyngard started a fire in a skip outside the home Denise shares with her husband, Lincoln Townley, in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
