Denise Welch has been the subject of a scam from online fraudsters to trick people into thinking they can win an array of different luxury prizes.
Geordie actress and Loose Women star Denise has 517,000 followers on the social media account and on Tuesday night posted on her account after being alerted to a fake account set up in her name.
The self-proclaimed 'official' account which called itself 'Denise Welch' with the handle @official_Dwelch tried to con fans with its bio which read 'Official Denise Welch giveaways page. Message me privately to be among the selected winner to stand a chance to win a brand new car, holidays and houses."

The account followed Denise and retweeted a number of her posts.
But, after being tipped off by one of her friends who spotted the page, Denise was quick to warn fans that it had absolutely nothing to do with her, with the former Coronation Street star taking a screen shot of the profile and wrote "Another pathetic fake page."
Seeing the funny side, one of Denise's followers wrote: "What car is it?" with a second replying: "Wow!Generous aren't you???!!!"
Yesterday Denise sparked quite a reaction on Twitter with her defence of Prince Harry in light of the news that Prince Andrew had settled a civil sexual assault case brought against him in the US by Virginia Giuffre.
Denise took to Twitter to write: "Prince Harry constantly gets blamed for bringing heartache & burden to the Queen in her final years. Let’s just remember that the Queen is funding this pay off from Andrew her favourite son."
Denise has previously admitted she's got 'personal beef' with Prince Andrew after she attended a dinner party he was at and was appalled by comments he made about Princess Diana.
Talking abiout the incident on Loose Women, she said: ""He really, really upset me once in the way he spoke about his sister-in-law Diana with such disdain in front of a group of people, including me, who he didn't know from a bar of soap and I was horrified by it, as it wasn't long after.
"I had no skin in the game except from the fact I loved Diana from afar but I was just horrified by it and I never liked him and then we had another couple of occasions.
