Denise Edwards says her 'heart aches' following the death of SBTV founder Jamal Edwards at the age of 31.
The entrepreneur, who died suddenly on Sunday, gained fame from setting up the new music platform, which helped to launch a string of UK music careers including Dave and Jessie J.
In a statement read out on ITV's Good Morning Britain and shared on Loose Women's Twitter account, Jamal's mum Brenda, who is a panellist on the show said: "It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness."

Tributes to Jamal have flooded social media with many expressing their condolences to Brenda.
Loose Women's Denise Welch said: "My heart aches for my friend Brenda. I can't bear it. Jamal Edwards was a wonderful son and brother."
Ruth Langsford said: "My heart is breaking for my friend @brendaedwardsglobal after the loss of her amazing son Jamal yesterday. I can only imagine her unbearable pain.
"Grief is the price we pay for love. The @loosewomen will wrap our arms around her and try to fill her with all the strength we have.
"My condolences and love to you my darling friend, Tanisha and all your family. RIP Jamal."
Jamal was a teenager when he launched the youth broadcasting and production film channel SBTV to upload clips he had recorded of his friends performing on the estate where he lived in Acton, west London.
By 2014, he had amassed an estimated fortune of around £8 million and worked with the likes of Jessie J, Emeli Sande and Ed Sheeran.
