Denise Welch isn't in fact taking a break from the spotlight, with the 'little adventure' she told fans she was going on, actually being filming for the next series of Celebrity Hunted.
Earlier this week, Loose Women star Denise took to Instagram to tell her followers they wouldn't be hearing from her in a while, saying: "Well... on today, on my 65th birthday, I want to say thank you in advance for all the lovely messages and comments that I've received. I'm going off on a little adventure for a couple of weeks so I'm going to be off here and off my phone.
"I don't quite know how I'm going to cope, but I'm going to give it a try, so don't think I have disappeared. It's just a temporary little holiday and I'll be back soon."
Well now it's being reported that Denise, together with husband Lincoln Townley, are involved in the new series of Celebrity Hunted, where they will attempt to evade capture from a crack team of Hunters to try and make it to the end and raise money for charity.
Production on the show, which has previously starred the likes of Vicky Pattison, Dom Joly, Spencer Matthews and The Wanted's Siva and Jay, is thought to be now underway in Norfolk.
Other stars said to be involved this time round include Strictly Come Dancing professionals Giovanni Pernice and Kai Widdrington.
