Denise Welch has stunned fans after posting an unrecognisable photo on Instagram. The Loose Women star took to the social media platform with the image of her posing with her hands on her hips amid her trip to Los Angeles for the ITV lunchtime show.
She swapped her trademark short, blonde locks for a longer, shoulder-length blonde wig and was pictured wearing a bright pink top and peach workout leggings with matching trainers and a pair of pink-rimmed glasses.
However, Denise's face was completely different and she admitted to playing around with wigs and filters but on first glance fans were absolutely stunned and didn't even recognise her.
The 63-year-old wrote alongside the image: "Playing around with wigs and a ‘smidge’ of a filter with @glambypamelab. I now feel the need for an ‘interview look’ every time I go to the bloody shops!!!"
Vocal coach and TV judge Zoe Tyler was among the first to comment, writing: "That is NOT you!!!!!" alongside a few shocked and a crying laughing emoji while TV personality Lizzie Cundy simply commented: "Incredible!!!"
Fans were also quick to comment on the post with a mix of complete surprise and compliments.

There were also a lot of people comparing Denise to two other famous faces - Ferne Cotton and Amanda Holden - while others laughed over her 'smidge' of filter comment.
It's not the first time Denise has wowed fans since swapping the UK for La La Land. Last week she jumped into a hot pink swimsuit showing off her figures and long legs as she posed on the balcony of her apartment.
"Lovely to have a day off even though unexpected as someone unprofessionally pulled out of filming with 2 hrs to go!!" Denise told her thousands of followers. "Anyway, I’m loving life here in LA but I miss my pals and my @lighterlife gang. Much easier to eat healthier when it’s constantly sunny though. Won’t ever tire of this view and feel very lucky."
The comment section was quickly filled with flame emojis with Denise being told LA 'suits her' and that she could be a 'model'. While away, Denise discovered that a stalker who started a fire in the driveway of her home and left her "terrified" has been jailed for seven years and seven months.
The former Coronation Street actress gave evidence over video-link from the US as Toraq Wyngard, 64, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court on Thursday (April 7). She said: “It has changed my life. I have a wonderful life and this man has permanently scarred it."
