The Masked Singer's Denise van Outen shares daughter's incredible reaction to Fox bombshell

Denise Van Outen has shared the moment her daughter Betsy discovered that her mum was Fox on Saturday's The Masked Singer.

The 45-year-old uploaded the little one's reaction onto Instagram after it was shown on screen that she had been hidden in the mirrored bodysuit on the kooky talent series.

The blonde bombshell could be seen in the footage sat on the sofa with nine-year-old Betsy and her pal as they tuned into the ITV show.

The trio chanted the famous series catchphrase "take it off" as Fox's tugged her mask off.

As soon as it was revealed to be Denise, Betsy exclaimed: "You!"

Denise giggled as the two girls struggled to contain their shock as they screamed.

Betsy added: "It was you the whole time!

"We knew it!" the girls added.

Denise took to the social media platform on Saturday night to reflect on appearing on the new talent show which she said she "loved every minute" of.

She penned, alongside a number of backstage snaps: "At last, I can finally tell the truth. My mask has slipped. After many weeks sneaking around being an undercover singing fox, dealing with endless questions from friends and family, telling constant lies and tales (bushy ones!), I started to dislike the fox I had become.

"But once you’re out, you’re ‘out out’ - no going back in the Den!

"This is where the fun begins. Thank you for your constant support and love, I’ve enjoyed every minute of being on #themaskedsinger. Best of luck to next weeks finalists and congratulations to the whole team and crew on a fantastic series. Queen Bee for the win."

Theatre star Denise wowed the judges with her true identity when she pulled off her mask on the semi-final of The Masked Singer.

"It's been fun... it's been good sneaking around and misbehaving," she laughed.

Denise added: "It's bizarre, it does feel really weird, it becomes part of you!"

Asked why she had decided to take part in the show, Denise said: "I do big theatre songs and i never get to do these songs with no inhibition - it's been the best thing I've ever done!"
