Denholm Environmental is investing £1.5 million in expanding its fleet of trucks and tankers.
The new vehicles will be spread across the company’s four sites in Invergordon, Grangemouth and Carlisle, as well as its headquarters in Inverurie.
The move is in response to a significant uptick in business, particularly in the brewing, distilling and utilities sectors.
Waste to energy project maintenance, including anaerobic digestion units, also make up a large portion of UK work, while overseas energy projects continue to keep the team busy.
With ongoing recruitment across its operations, Denholm Environmental has set its sights on further growth at home and abroad. The company hopes that the fleet investment will act as a springboard towards fulfilling ambitious growth plans.
The latest announcement follows a successful end to 2022, which included Denholm Environmental’s first contract in South America, where it carried out work on a cargo oil tank, and the completion of its first ever scope of work in Dubai.
Managing director Brian Ritchie said: “This investment in fleet will allow us to up-level our service offering across the UK, increasing our capacity and our ability to flex in meeting the needs of a growing client base.”
Denholm Environmental is a turnkey provider of specialist industrial services, liquid waste management and decontamination solutions to the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, utilities, brewing and distilling, marine, construction and aquaculture industries.
It is part of Denholm Energy - formerly Denholm Oilfield Services - with a corporate history stretching back almost 150 years.
