Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan’s dominant run continued on Thursday at the United Center, where he delivered another sensational scoring night, dropping 37 points on the Hawks on 15-of-21 shooting from the field.
DeRozan also came up clutch in the final seconds. With the Bulls trailing 109-108, DeRozan hit a mid-range jumper with 15.1 seconds despite being fouled, then converted at the line for the three-point play.
The Bulls held on to win 112-108, extending their winning streak to six games and moving them a half-game ahead of the Miami Heat in the race for the No. 1 seed. Zach LaVine finished the game with 20 points, and Nikola Vucevic had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
