Delivery driver dies while 'dropping off parcels' on Scots street

A delivery driver has died while dropping off parcels on a Scots street.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Hollybush Road in Crieff, Perthshire, at 4.55pm on Thursday, February 16.

On arrival, a 52-year-old man was found dead at the scene. Officers say there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A source told the Sun: "He got out of the van, made the delivery and got back into his van and dropped dead. He was found by a customer."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the sudden death of a 52-year-old man on Hollybush Road, Crieff, around 4.55pm on Thursday, February 16.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
