Top food delivery service firm Deliveroo has named Edinburgh's most popular local restaurants on its platform.
Revealing the figures ahead of Small Business Saturday (December 3), the firm confirmed that small restaurants now make up nearly 73% of the total businesses in Edinburgh on its app – rising six per cent in the past year
Speaking ahead of the day dedicated to small business, the firm have reiterated that this winter, small businesses face increasing pressures from staff shortages to rising energy costs, with the cost-of-living crisis a large cause of concern. They are calling on people to order local this weekend and to help have picked out some of the most popular small businesses.

In Edinburgh, some of the most popular small local restaurants on the Deliveroo platform are currently:
- Razzo Pizza Napoletana – A Margherita from the pizza specialists on Junction Street in Leith is one of the most commonly ordered dishes on the app.
- Kenji Sushi – This popular Japanese restaurant in Stockbridge is known for its mouthwatering sushi.
- Matto Pizza – This authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizza in Morningside and Meadowbank was another picked out.
- Down The Hatch – Renowned for their Canadian-inspired comfort food, DTH on Antigua St was another foodie favourite.
