A Nottingham school has been rated Good by Ofsted after a recent inspection. Ofsted inspectors visited Netherfield Primary School on Monday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 19.
The report shows the school was rated Good in all areas, which includes the quality of education, behaviours and attitudes, personal development, early years provision and leadership and management. Ofsted inspectors described the school as "calm and orderly" and noted that pupils were "polite and courteous" and enjoy attending the school.
Netherfield Primary School Headteacher Jon Crone said: “I am so proud of all our children who showed the Ofsted team how happy they are at school and how much we all value and respect each other. The staff team work hard to ensure all children are supported and we are delighted that inspectors recognised Netherfield primary school’s strengths and graded us as good."
The Ofsted inspection came as staff were celebrating the school's Key Stage 2 SATs results which saw the highest results ever recorded at Netherfield Primary. Although the national average dipped, Netherfield Primary School recorded that 76% of its pupils were at the expected standard in combined reading, writing and maths, which is 17% above the national average.
