Detectives have released CCTV images of two men following a deliberate blaze that took place in Dumbarton.

The fire took place around midnight on Friday, June 4, last year, at Unit 2B, 48 Castlegreen Street.

Police believe the two men pictured may be able to assist with enquiries.

One man is described as white, approximately 5ft 6” to 5ft 8”, of slim build, wearing a Puma jogging suit (with a large Puma emblem across the chest and a smaller Puma emblem on his left trouser leg) and Nike 95 trainers.

Detective Constable Martin Don, at Clydebank CID, said: “It is clear that this was a deliberate and targeted attack which could have had catastrophic consequences for businesses within the complex.

“As part of our investigation we are keen to identify the two men in the CCTV images and would urge them both, or anyone who recognises them, to get in touch with police immediately.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact CID at Clydebank via 101, quoting incident number 1754 of 5 June 2021. Alternatively, calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
