New Delhi: Strong winds and a partly cloudy sky promise to keep temperatures in Delhi on Monday, with the maximum temperature expected to settle at around 34 degree Celsius.
Respite, however, is temporary with the mercury set to climb beyond 36 degrees Celsius by Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its forecast.
The minimum temperature, which was steadily below normal for most of March, is also set to rise, and is expected to touch 23 degrees Celsius by the end of the week, close to four degrees above normal.
