She resigned a day after AAP faced a crushing defeat at the hands of the BJP.

'We Accept Mandata'
"First and foremost, I thank the people of Delhi and our dedicated party workers who stood firm. We accept the mandate. The fight against BJP’s dictatorship and hooliganism will continue," she told reporters after submitting her resignation.
LG dissolves Delhi Legislative Assembly
A day after the Delhi Assembly Election results, the LG dissolved the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi with effect from 08th February, 2025.
