One lane on a busy carriageway has been closed due to an accident. Emergency services were called to reports of the incident on A52 Clifton Boulevard Northbound on Wednesday evening (May 18).
Officers warned motorists about the incident just after 6.30pm. The road is running on one lane while recovery work is underway.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident between A60 Loughborough Road (Nottingham Knight Island) and A453 Clifton Lane (Silverdale Island), traffic monitoring website Inrix reports. It is understood the incident occurred just after 5pm.

In a tweet, West Bridgford neighbourhood policing team and response officers said they are awaiting recovery. The force said the delays to traffic are due to an earlier road collision.
It reads: "West Bridgford neighbourgood policing team and response officers awaiting recovery of two vehicles on the A52 between Nottm Knight island and silverdale exit slip after an earlier road collision. The road is running on one lane but will fully reopen shortly."
