Delaware State head coach DeSean Jackson on sidelines for Eagles vs. Packers wild card game

The Eagles love to host college coaches on select NFL game days, and Sunday’s wild-card contest against Green Bay saw a new local head coach and former legendary receiver on the sidelines. Delaware State head coach and future Eagles Hall of Famer DeSean Jackson was on the sidelines for pregame activities.

Jackson and Michael Vick went from being teammates to rivals after the former Eagles became MEAC head coaches.

Jackson officially retired as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles last December.

A three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver with Philadelphia, Jackson was honored as the Honorary Captain of the Eagles showdown against the 49ers at Lincoln Financial Field.

Jackson is sixth in Eagles history with 379 catches and third with 6,512 receiving yards.

The Hornets lost 38-19 to Norfolk State in the MEAC last season.
