Deji's former coach has released old sparring footage which shows the YouTube star being dropped.
The YouTuber has yet to win any of his fights in the boxing ring, having lost his third bout in succession against Alex Wassabi last month. He claimed throughout the build-up that his camp had gone well after changing his set-up in a bid to finally record victory after back-to-back losses to Jake Paul and Vinnie Hacker.
But Suleman Abbas has revealed a new video to show Deji's struggle throughout camp, after he claimed during a face-off that he "got the better" of his sparring partner. However Abbas showed footage on the video of Deji being dropped twice by his sparring partner Riyad. He spoke over the video, explaining: "Deji said that Riyad was an easy sparring partner but as we can see from the footage."
"Being an easy sparring partner I don't think so to be honest, I think it was tough and if he hadn't of started getting the better thing we could have started getting in professionals. He is only 63kg which is more than 10kg lighter than Deji. As you can see the sparring session wasn't easy was it? Quite clearly he wasn't finding it easy so for him to say he was finding is easy in the face-off with Wassabi, when quite clearly is another lie on top of another lie that I wasn't pushing him."
Deji was first dropped by a right hand, letting out a grunt as his sparring partner sent him clattering to the canvas. The second knockdown came from a whipping body shot which sent Deji crumbling to the floor in pain. He later complained the shot was a "low blow" which was later analysed to be a legal punch.

The footage then shows Deji in the ring with former English champion Kay Prospere. Abbas explained: "Being pushed to the deep end he wanted professionals so we wanted to bring in Kay Prospere. Kay was going to the ability of Deji and he was hardly going to 50 per cent of his own ability."
Propsere first lets Deji fall after the YouTube star chased him to the corner and fell-off balance to the canvas. Prospere then continues to let punches go with Deji clearly spent of energy and defending himself on the ropes.
Deji had also claimed in the build-up that he would retire from the sport if he was defeated again, but is now looking to take another exploit in a bid to pick up his maiden win. Wassabi shook hands on a rematch with Deji according to the YouTube star, but it looks likely the American will instead face Deji's brother KSI in the ring with the pair in talks.
