Dejan Kulusevski has already revealed his thoughts on Tottenham loan move amid Luis Diaz blow

New Tottenham target Dejan Kulusevski has already revealed that he prefers 'end of season' move instead of a January switch, whilst also making an alarming Arsenal claim amid fresh loan talks.

Kulusevski, 21, has made 20 appearances so far for Juventus in Serie A this season, with 78 per cent of those coming from the bench.

In those 20 games, the Swede has scored one goal and assisted three and with Dusan Vlahovic's expected arrival at6 the Turin club - coupled with Juve being linked to a swoop for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - game time may appear limited for the young versatile forward.

According to the Athletic, after the latest Luis Diaz and Adama Traore blows, the Lilywhites are looking to move on from those situations as Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici aim to save the January transfer window with a few last-minute signings.

They are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are working on a deal to sign Kulusevski from Juventus on a loan deal, with am option to buy.

The report has reaffirmed that 'Antonio Conte has made it clear his new side must revamp their squad if they are to challenge at the top end of the Premier League.'

If the deal for Kulusevski failed, to materialise, former Chelsea flop Alvaro Morata could be given a second chance to make his name in the Premier League as Juve look to cut costs following Vlahovic's arrival.

However, with regards to the Swede, it is unknown whether or not he would be open to a mid-season switch to a new country, although past comments indicate that his preference regarding transfers has always been to wait until the summer.

When at Parma in 2019, the player in question admitted to the Italian media: "When you think about the future, you forget the present.

"That’s why, right now, I’m only thinking about improving more with each day. I certainly don’t know what will happen in the future. I’m focused on improving and I’ll make a decision at the end of the season."

These comments may be three years old and circumstances may have significantly changed in the 21 -year-old's career but this 'end of the season' admission coulld certainly be of concern for a forward that Conte wants now.

On top of this transfer admission, his views on north London rivals Arsenal may not please the Lilywhites' faithful as they may be forced to welcome a Gunners fan to the club.

"My favourite team is Arsenal, because I like everything about the club, the city, the players and the way they play football," he said back in 2019.

In a different interview, Kulusevski even detailed the efforts the Arsenal hierarchy have made to keep tabs on his development when at Atalanta in Bergamo.

He explained in an interview with Swedish media back in August 2018 : “They (Arsenal) were watching me at Atalanta, but they did not bid so it did not matter, but they showed interest. Then the thing is also that they are one of my favourite teams, so it was great, really cool.

“It would definitely be a club I would like to play for in the future.”

Despite those previous comments from Kulusevski, Tottenham are in need of new additions, so supporters may have to forget them and back a player who is hugely admired by sporting director Paratici.
