Hours after Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys parted ways, team owner Jerry Jones was talking about the head coaching job with a prime candidate.
Reports surfaced Monday that Jones had spoken with Colorado head coach Deion Sanders about replacing McCarthy.

Sanders is a Pro Football Hall of Famer. He played five seasons with the Cowboys in his illustious career. He was a member of the Super Bowl XXX championship team in Dallas.
This will only serve to heighten the intrigue around the head coach job with America’s Team. Sanders and the Dallas Cowboys would be an incredible combination in so many ways.
