Deion Sanders asked for Greg Anthony’s blazer and got a hilarious assist from Shedeur

Imagine this: You are watching an NBA game and the announcer looks spiffy, and you wonder how you would look wearing that outfit.

Now add this layer: You are one of the most successful athletes ever and currently one of the most famous football coaches in the world. Plus, your son (who is one of the projected top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft) happens to be attending the game.

That is exactly what happened to Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders on Tuesday night when the Nuggets played the Mavericks.

Coach Prime saw the outfit that NBA broadcaster Greg Anthony was wearing and knew he needed to copy the look.

But rather than simply asking where Anthony got the blazer, he asked for it directly. Anthony surprisingly obliged, giving him the clothes off his back, and got his Turner Sports colleague Jared Greenberg to deliver it directly to Shedeur Sanders who was attending the game as a fan.

Shedeur seemed admittedly confused at first, likely unaware of the post from his father.

But after a brief exchange with Greenberg, he accepted the blazer on behalf of his dad and presumably promised he would make the delivery for him.

After the game, Greg (who has his own famous son with Cole Anthony on the Orlando Magic) and Shedeur posed for a photo together to commemorate the silly interaction.

We can’t wait to see Coach Prime rocking this jacket in Colorado (or perhaps somewhere else).
