Arsenal legend and pundit Ian Wright has named Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane as an ideal replacement for Roberto Firmino at Liverpool.
Firmino has been a vital figure for Jurgen Klopp's side but is yet to extend his current contract which expires at the end of next season. The Brazilian joined the Reds in 2015 and has made more than 300 appearances for the club, scoring 96 goals in all competitions.
Should he depart in the not so distant future, Wright has urged Liverpool to move for Kane as he 'won't miss the chances' Firmino often does.

“If I had the capability of getting Harry Kane and putting him in Liverpool’s full side with (Mohamed) Salah or (Sadio) Mane or Luis Diaz and playing as the number 9, dropping deep and doing his stuff (I would)," he said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show
“It won’t be how Firmino does it, those lovely bit of skills and stuff, but Kane can drop in and help create because the two could run behind.
“If it was available to me, I would definitely look into it because it’s Harry Kane, and he will score. People talk about Firmino that he doesn’t score enough goals, he misses too many. Harry Kane doesn’t miss those chances.”
Kane was linked with a move away from Spurs last summer but his proposed transfer to Manchester City failed to materialise. The England captain, now 28, is out of contract in 2024.
Kane is a product of Tottenham's academy and is one of the most prolific strikers in world football. He's scored 243 goals in 377 appearances for Spurs and has 49 goals in 69 caps for England.
