DEFIANT Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst insists he will not consider changing his football beliefs because of a few critics.
The Ibrox manager has come under some pressure in the last week after back-to-back heavy defeats against Celtic and Ajax.
The Dutchman's men lost 4-0 in both games, with the Champions League tie in Amsterdam showing the Premiership outfit the step up in quality from the Europa League.
Ex-players, pundits and fans have scrutinised the manager and his style of play since the losses.
But van Bronckhorst is adamant his outlook on football will not be changed by noisy doubters.
He said: "No, there's nothing to change about philosophy.
"Two-weeks-ago we qualified for the Champions League and everything was fine. Everyone was praised about the team, the staff. Everyone was doing well.
"Two-weeks later, it looks like we haven't performed in the last couple of years. That's the dynamic of football.
"I'm not changing anything about my philosophy and how I want to play.
"Of course, there's a lot of room for improvement but I think that the most disappointing thing about the last two games is that we didn't perform.
"That's something that will have to change. Losing two games against good opponents.
"You don't play every year in the Champions League. The level we will face in the next couple of months we haven't endured in the last 12-years.
"It's going to be tough. But I don't understand why we have to put our philosophy on the side.
"We can go to Ajax and play with ten defenders to try to keep the zero, but we're not improving as a team like that.
"The experience against Ajax is something the team won't forget. The big learning point is tomorrow night."
