Ever since Deepika Padukone made her stint as a presenter at the 95th Academy Awards this year, the actress has been trending on social media. Her pictures and videos from the Oscar stage are still doing the rounds on the internet.
Amidst this, a video of the actress showing off her belly dance moves from an old coffee ad is going viral. The ad also featured Karan Johar and Purab Kohli.

In the ad, Deepika and Karan are seen sitting and chatting on a couch, when Purab Kohli enters. Deepika asks Purab if he wants to have cold coffee and he replies, ‘Shake it and make it baby’. The actress then goes on to show us some belly dancing moves as she prepares the coffee. Purab, on the other hand, continues to dream about Deepika dancing to make the coffee. Meanwhile, Karan gets up and simply makes the cold coffee in a mixer. He then wakes up Purab from his dream and tells him that one need not dance like Deepika to make it, a mixer is enough for the task.
As soon as the video was shared on a social media site, likes and comments poured in from all sides. While one user wrote, ‘Got them buzzing without the caffeine’, another user added, ‘Damn, what nostalgia. I remember this ad so well. So well made. DP looks gorgeous (sic)’. A fan also commented, ‘She hasn’t aged.’
On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan for the first time. The film will also feature Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover in key roles.
Apart from this, she also has films like, the Hindi remake of ‘The Intern’, Nag Ashwin’s untitled next with Prabhas and others in her kitty.
