Dee Devlin shows support for Conor McGregor after Spain attack claim

Dee Devlin has posted a public display of affection for Conor McGregor after the UFC star denied an assault allegation.

Earlier this week, the two-time UFC champion rejected claims he assaulted a woman on his yacht off a Spanish island last year. A spokesperson for the MMA star denied the claims made to Spanish cops.

Crumlin native Conor also posted a video to his fiancee on his Instagram story of the Luther Vandross song Never Too Much. Sharing the clip on her own story, Dee wrote: “I love you deep babe!! My one and only forever.”

McGregor has not fought in the UFC since breaking his leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021. Conor was expected to return to action in the second part of last year, but a setback in his recovery stopped that from happening.

However, his long-time coach, Dubliner John Kavanagh, stated recently that he is “very confident” McGregor will fight again in 2023. Kavanagh told the MMA hour: “I’d be willing to bet my house on it.

“I was actually just chatting with him yesterday or the day before and then [his manager] Audie [Attar] was in town. Yeah, I think there’s some interesting negotiations going along now.

"I absolutely can’t say anything beyond that but I’m very, very confident that we’ll see Conor back in the octagon this year.” On who McGregor fights, Kavanagh claimed he is not that fussed about it as long as it is someone who gets his fighter excited.
