Former Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata has completed a move to his homeland with Club Brugge.
The Belgium international has agreed the transfer from Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal until 2025. He arrives at the club alongside another ex-Hoops stopper in the shape of Jack Hendry, although his time looks like it is coming to an end following the arrival of the 31-year-old.
Boyata has a wealth of experience having started his career at Manchester City before joining Celtic. He won everything on offer domestically in Scotland and has experience in the Champions League, Europa League and on the international stage. A club statement read: "Club Brugge and Hertha BSC reached an agreement for the transfer of Dedryck Boyata.

"Boyata (31) played since 2019 for Bundesliga side Hertha BSC. The central defender started his career at Manchester City before joining Celtic Glasgow. He won four titles with the Scottish top club and lifted the Scottish Cup three times, as well as the League Cup. He gathered 30 caps for Belgium.
"The defender brings a lot of experience with appearances in two Champions League group stages, three Europa League group stages and one World Championship.
"He signed a contract until 2025.
