Ally McCoist believes Declan Rice should snub Manchester United's advances and favour a move to Arsenal instead.
The West Ham United midfielder is thought to be keen on leaving the London Stadium this summer, with his desire to play in the UEFA Champions League at the forefront of his current plans.
Chelsea, Arsenal and the Reds are just three clubs who are said to hold an interest in the 24-year-old, with German side Bayern Munich also thought to be watching the situation closely. Rice's current deal expires next summer.

McCoist however has been outspoken in his thoughts regarding the England midfielder's imminent future, insisting he feels the Gunners would be a much more attractive option than Erik ten Hag's current project at Old Trafford.
“It’s a funny one. Over the weekend and over the season, if I’m Declan Rice and I’m weighing up my options, I am thinking I’d probably rather go to Arsenal than Manchester United,'' he said via talkSPORT on Tuesday morning.
“I look at Manchester United over the weekend, and I know they’ve won the League Cup, but they look as though they’re four or five players behind Manchester City. I still think Arsenal are well behind Manchester City, but I think they’ve got the potential to get nearer to them quicker.”
West Ham are in UEFA Conference League final action tomorrow evening, as the prepare to take on Fiorentina in Prague. Rice is expected to captain the side, with some touting the curtain-raiser as his final game under David Moyes.
