Declan Rice has sent a cryptic message to Mason Mount on social media as both players head into a decisive summer for their futures in London. Mount, who is closing in on a move away from his boyhood club with Manchester United in talks to sign him, has been enjoying some time away from the pitch in Spain.
Attending the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix in Barcelona, he has already spoken out regarding recent transfer rumours. When found on the grid walk, Sky Sports reporter Martin Brundle picked him out and asked about the potential move to Old Trafford.
"He said you're going to Man United!" Brundle said to Mount. "No I'm just here to enjoy this race today, an amazing day, I can't wait to watch it!" the 24-year-old midfielder replied. Chelsea teammates Ben Chilwell and Reece James also gave their own verdicts.

"Of course, if he [Mount] goes, everyone will be sad to see him go," James said. Chilwell, meanwhile, stated: "It's none of my business personally, but I'd love him to stay. He's my best mate, so personally I'd love him to stay but it's none of my business."
As the days go on and no progress is made towards extending his stay at Stamford Bridge, Mount looks more and more likely to be on his way out of the club. Rice, on the other hand, is also headed out of the door at West Ham with Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich amongst the teams chasing his signature.
The England star also has 12-months left on his contract but still has the Europa Conference League final to focus on before attention truly turns to deciding where his next destination is. With Mount, Chilwell and James all on holiday, Rice has taken to social media to communicate with his best friend.
Replying to Mount's Instagram post of him meeting up for some of F1's biggest stars including Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda, Rice wrote: "Yes max family good??" The pair's continued bromance has sent fans into a meltdown online.
"True Chelsea fans want you both at Chelsea to bring in the next era of success - the next JT & Lamps," wrote one user. "Declan brr , talk to ur bro not go out rival team seeing mount leave the bridge is so sad for m," said another. "You two better come to Chelsea and be de players u shud be ... But if u opt for Manchester bye," Added a third.
In a window geared towards the movement of midfielders, both players are set to be high on the priority list for many of the top teams as Chelsea compete to start next season with at least one of them in their ranks.
