Declan Rice rubbishes Roy Keane comments with on the pitch statement

Declan Rice scored a spectacular solo effort as West Ham dismantled Genk 4-1 at the London Stadium on Thursday night.

The Hammers went through to the semi finals of the Europa Conference League as 5-2 aggregate winners.

Michael Antonio scored twice and a Lucas Paqueta penalty rounded up the scoring in what was a great result for the Hammers.

In March, Keane commented on the 24-year-old, with reports suggesting West Ham valued him in excess of 100 million.

The former Man United captain referenced Rice's lack of goals, as the England midfielder only scored eight times in 197 Premier League appearances.

“I don't think he's been great this season," Keane told Sky Sports in March.

"There's a lot of good PR coming out from West Ham about his price. He doesn’t score enough and he doesn’t assist enough.

"I know, I played that position. He needs to do a lot more."

West Ham host AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the Europa Conference League semi final next month, as they pursue their first trophy since 1980.
