A heartbroken woman has paid tribute to her dad after a body was found yesterday.
David McGarrigle, from Paisley, had been reported missing on Sunday evening, just hours before his family learned of his tragic death.
Now his family has taken to social media to speak of their grief on learning the 60-year-old had passed away, the Daily Record reports.
David was described as a "lovely guy" and his loss has devastated family and friends.
Police confirmed yesterday that his family had been informed that a body had been found during searches.
It was earlier reported that an underpass at St James' Playing Fields in Shortroods had been cordoned off by police.
Daughter Kaylee wrote: "Miss you so much dad."
Later adding: "RIP dad I miss u so much already this doesn't feel real my heart is broken."
Devastated pals have also spoke kindly of the Paisley dad.
