It is with deep regret that we announce Rita of Moston passed away suddenly but peacefully in hospital on November 20 aged 77 years.
The loving and cherished wife of Kenneth, a precious and treasured Mum to Mark and Paula, a loving and caring Nana to Karis, a much loved Sister of Michael and David, a dearly loved sister-in-law and Aunty who will be deeply missed by her family and all those who had the privilege of meeting her.

On 13th November 2022, Antonio 48, of Sale passed away peacefully at home after a long illness borne with much courage. Antonio ran Tony's Barber Shop in Cheadle Heath from 1996 making many friends along the way.
Following his diagnosis in 2004 of Multiple Sclerosis he continued to run his own business however was forced to give up work in 2006 due to his symptoms. Antonio will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends.

(Known fondly as Ibi or Mrs B). Ibi was married to Edward James Boden who provided steadfast support during his lifetime. Ibi touched the lives of many as an early advocate of women's rights to fitness, then subsequent Master Personal Trainer. A generous and inimitable spirit who will always be remembered by those who knew her. Ibi passed away on 4th November 2022.
Our dearest Carole Ann passed away on November 19th in Brixham, age 65 years. Such a beautiful person, our loss is beyond words. She will always be with us. Love always, Mum, Christine, Jo and families, and David her beloved husband God Bless Carole xxxxx

John Hill-Wilson passed peacefully on November 23rd at the age of 94 with loving family close by. He joins his beloved wife Pam and his grandson Daniel in peaceful eternity.

Passed away on the 3rd November 2022, Michael aged 56 Years. Loving Son of Margaret and the late Leslie Smith. Loving Brother of Ann and Gareth. Brother in law of Ian and Bev. A loving Uncle of Beth, Georgia-Rose and Dylan. Michael will be sadly missed by all who new and loved him.
Michael lived in Bacup until he was around 19 years of age, also living in London and finally Manchester where he had resided for approximately the last 20 years. Michael left Fearns School at 16 years of age and went working at E Sutton & Sons, Bacup, when he then moved to Manchester.
Michael had a few transient jobs before he got a job at Clarks shoe shop where he worked his way up to a Store Manager position at a shop in London. More recently he has been doing voluntary work at a British Heart Foundation Shop in Middleton. Michael enjoyed his pop Music and Films.

We are sad to report the death of George Thorpe who passed away very peacefully at the age of 88 years old on the 17th November 2022 at Willow Wood Hospice surrounded by his loving family.
For 61 years he was the beloved Husband of Lilian Thorpe, an adored father to Ian and David and precious Grandad to Rebecca Thorpe. He will be greatly missed but we take great comfort in knowing he knew how much he was loved and we, how much he loved us.
His kindness of spirit touched many lives and his legacy will live on in all who knew him. Donations to Willow Wood Hospice who wrapped the family in love for his final few days.

19th May 1941 - 14th November 2022 On November 14th Pat died, peacefully by the grace of God. In Ward C3 North Manchester General Hospital aged 81 years, fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church.
