Barney Walsh is the latest guest star to appear in the new series of BBC detective drama Death in Paradise. The 25-year-old, who is currently appearing alongside dad Bradley in ITV's Breaking Dad, plays Ryan Cook, a suspect in the latest murder mystery for DI Neville Parker and co to solve.

Barney’s introduction into the acting industry came in 2013 where he played a guest role in Law and Order: UK, which also starred his father. He studied performing arts at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.
In the years that followed, he would inhabit other roles in the likes of BBC medical soap opera Doctors and ITV’s Darling Buds of May revival, The Larkins. In 2017, Barney even had a role in the poorly received Guy Richie film, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

Barney is thought to currently be in a relationship with Stephanie Del Valle Diaz, a Puerto Rican musician and model who was crowned Miss World in 2016. It is understood that the pair crossed paths while taking part in charity events as part of the Miss World Beauty With A Purpose initiative.
