A woman who drove into Lake Michigan near Grant Park on Saturday night has been hospitalized, Chicago police said.
The woman, 26, was driving southbound in the 800 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive at 7:42 p.m. when she veered off the road and into Lake Michigan, police said. She was uninjured and able to make her way back to shore, but she was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital "as a precaution."
Her car is still partially submerged in the lake, and citations are pending, police said.
