DeAndre Hopkins was impressed with Nashville during Titans visit

The Tennessee Titans hosted free-agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for a visit on Sunday and Monday in the hope that they can land the veteran wideout to improve what is arguably the worst group in the NFL.

By all accounts, the meeting between the Titans and Hopkins went well, but it did not result in the two sides reaching an agreement before he departed. Hopkins is now set to visit the New England Patriots on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hopkins was apparently impressed with Nashville, according to producer, musician and Titans fan, Bam Rich, who called into “Ramon, Kayla, and Will” on 104.5 The Zone with some details.

Rich said Hopkins was at his show on Monday, even posting a picture with the veteran wideout. Here’s what Rich revealed about his conversation with Hopkins (H/T Zach Ragan of AtoZ Sports Nashville).

“[Hopkins] said ‘Man, Nashville’s a vibe…it’s a really a vibe, bro. I didn’t even know y’all was down here living like this,'” Rich said.

Rich also noted that he told Hopkins the Titans need him (he’s right), to which Hopkins replied, “man, we’re gonna see what’s up bro.”

Hopkins has his visit set with the Pats and will likely meet with more teams after, but Titans fans who want him to come aboard should be feeling good about the Tennessee’s chances of landing him.
